## Types

### Registry

A centralized, validated repository for entities and inventory items within an organization. The registry serves as the source of truth for registered items—entities placed in the registry have passed validation checks (required fields, unique constraints, unique aliases) and received a unique registry identifier. Each organization has at most one registry. Items can become invalid after registration, so asynchronous validation tracks current validity state. Under the hood, the registry is a special type of project with a single root folder for entities, while inventory items live directly on the registry. Access is controlled through `collaborations`. Also known as the "Registry" in the Benchling UI sidebar.

- `__typename` (string, optional)
- `id` (string, optional)
- `modifiedAt` (string, optional) — DateTime the Registry was last modified
- `name` (string, optional, nullable) — Name of the Registry
- `owner` (OrganizationRef, optional, nullable) — Organization the Registry belongs to.
