# Batch create StudyItemAssociation

POST https://{tenant_name}.benchling.com/api/v3/study-item-association:batch-create
Content-Type: application/json

Batch create StudyItemAssociation synchronously in one transaction. Maximum 25 items per request.

## Idempotency

Inputs with a `(studyId, itemId)` pair that already exists, including duplicate pairs in the same request, are accepted and ignored. They do not produce an error or create a duplicate association.
