## SDK Version 1.22.0 Release Notes

Version 1.22.0 adds broader service coverage, beta endpoints and connectors, new fields on several existing models, and support for additional Python versions.

App Canvas now supports the `fileUploadUiBlock`, `benchling.connect` is available as a service, and files and datasets can now be archived and unarchived.

## New in App Canvas: File upload blocks and required fields

App Canvas now supports `fileUploadUiBlock`, required input fields, and placeholder values for selector, search, and dropdown UI blocks.

File upload blocks can accept up to 10 files in supported formats, which apps can retrieve later through the `/blobs` endpoint.
