New Nucleotide Alignments API
A number of new endpoints are being released as a part of the Nucleotide Alignments API, replacing the deprecated DNA Alignments API. See this changelog post for more details.
What’s changing?
The following new endpoints will be made available as part of the Nucleotide Alignments API:
GET /nucleotide-alignments
- List Nucleotide AlignmentsGET /nucleotide-alignments/{nucleotide_alignment_id}
- Get a Nucleotide AlignmentPOST /nucleotide-alignments:create-template-alignment
- Create a template Nucleotide AlignmentPOST /nucleotide-alignments:create-consensus-alignment
- Create a consensus Nucleotide AlignmentDELETE /nucleotide-alignments/{nucleotide_alignment_id}
- Delete a Nucleotide Alignment
These endpoints are a more general replacement for the deprecated DNA Alignments API. The endpoints above correspond one-to-one with the endpoints of the DNA Alignments API, but will eventually include support for RNA sequences. More information on the DNA Alignments API deprecation can be found here.
When is this happening?
The Nucleotide Alignments API will be released on September 30th 2022. While the DNA Alignments API will continue to be supported until its eventual sunset, we strongly encourage folks to migrate to the Nucleotide Alignments API as soon as possible.
