Python 3.7 End of Life

Python version 3.7 is approaching end of life on June 27th 2023. Future versions of the Benchling SDK released after that date will no longer support Python 3.7

What’s changing?

Python 3.7 end of life is approaching on June 27th 2023, after which point it will no longer be updated or maintained. For security purposes, versions of the Benchling SDK released after that date will no longer support Python 3.7; newer versions of Python will continue to be supported.

When is this happening?

Python 3.7 end of life is happening on June 27th 2023. The Benchling SDK will not immediately break at that time, but subsequent releases will drop support for Python 3.7. Please consider upgrading to a newer version of Python before that time.
